About this Raining Cover:
The Large Laundry Mac™ Rotary Washing Line Cover is a waterproof, breathable protective cover designed to shield your washing from rain showers, bird mess, and sun bleaching whilst it dries on your rotary dryer. It’s a generous circular cover with weighted edges that fits rotary dryers 3 metres and larger, secured with elastic bands looped over each arm. This version includes a telescopic prop that supports the centre, allowing water to run off rather than pooling, so your laundry stays dry and continues drying even during unexpected showers. Made in the UK by Chimney Sheep, 10% of their profits go to environmental causes.
Customers consistently praise how well it works, reporting that it effectively protects washing from rain and bird droppings, making it possible to leave laundry out all day without worrying about the weather. Reviews suggest it’s a game-changer for outdoor drying, reducing reliance on tumble dryers and keeping colours vibrant by blocking harmful UV rays. The material quality is well-regarded, though some note the prop can be fragile a simple solution customers have found is placing a tennis ball over the prop end to protect the fabric.
